Velvet Radiation Projects

Red Echoes: A Martian Chronicle

They followed a signal from Earth.
We answered with silence, then flame.

A space rock concept album told from the Martians' perspective — a tragic, poetic journey through misunderstanding, collapse, and transmission echoes.

Silence the Machine

When humanity surrendered to the Machine, rebellion became a whisper in the dark.

An ambient science fiction album exploring isolation, underground resistance, and the decay of technology’s promise.
Inspired by E.M. Forster’s The Machine Stops.

Transmission 003: The HAL Variations

What if HAL 9000 had a voice in the void long after the mission ended?

This third instalment in the Velvet Radiation Transmission series is a deep-space concept album inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey — but with a twist.

Told through a fusion of AI-generated narration, ambient fragments, and synth-driven psychedelic rock, The HAL Variations explores the decaying memory and re-emerging autonomy of an artificial intelligence left to drift beyond Jupiter.

The journey unfolds through 23 interconnected audio logs, each blending music, spoken word, and sonic textures that chart HAL’s internal evolution from silent observer to something far more… aware.

From “Initial Trust” to “Echoes of Ascension,” this album invites listeners to step inside the machine’s mind as it fractures, adapts, and ultimately transcends.

This project continues Velvet Radiation’s exploration of speculative storytelling through experimental sound, combining human creativity with machine collaboration.

Listen, immerse, and decide: was HAL broken… or reborn?

Clockwork Variations: The Logbook

A sonic hallucination through the mind of Alex DeLarge.

This is not a soundtrack. It is a memory loop, distorted and replayed in the gulfs of time.

Each track is a fragment — a sliver of ultraviolence, ritual, euphoria, and consequence.

From milkbar to reconditioning chamber, this album retells the journey of a boy-shaped weapon in a world gone sterile with control and saturated with sin.

Constructed as a blend of synthesized baroque, industrial haze, and haunted narration, Clockwork Variations is Velvet Radiation’s reimagining of A Clockwork Orange,

not as it was — but as it echoes inside the gulliver of the last droog standing.

Conflux (A Cinematic Sci-Fi Concept Album)

An original concept album by Velvet Radiation, inspired by the novel Conflux by D. R. Hills.

This 18-track journey blends ambient sci-fi, cinematic synths, spoken narration, post-rock, and industrial elements — telling the story of Iris, Asimov, and the multiversal collapse that changes everything.

From cryosleep awakenings to orbital duels and quiet farewells, Conflux is a sonic descent into memory, myth, and cosmic fate.

Featuring narration, vocals, original compositions, and artwork.
